Days just passed quickly when you are no longer under stress.

I have finally settled btw 2 job offers. I am picking something that more "challenging" with contract agreement. Call me silly. but though it is more taxing, but i hope to gain from it. the only issue that is the paper work. even the consultant tried to convince me that the interested party wants me to start off asap but keep telling me that the paper work is unsettled?? very strange. ai, so, here i am.. waiting.

Over the weekend, we went to the car workshop @ sin ming to service my red chilli babe again. countless times since the major accident. well, pratically, it is like a heart passby, not a minor operation, after that, there is still maintenance and follow-ups. but you cant always go back every now and then, it may irritate the service man. without a car, thank God at least Bae's dad owns a commercial lorry, we can still travel ard with that.

It's been a "turtle" weekend. not that cose it is slow moving but we have seen turtles/tortoises at few places we went. on sat, we went to tea garden @ farrer area. it's a relaxing afternoon sitting by the pond. over there, the tortoises are "suntanning".. stretching their necks out. i figure it's not a bad being a turtle.. what you do is swimming in the pond n tan. P/H disagreed, he said that are longlived animals.. yupz, i do agree at this point. later in the evening, we attended 2 birthday dinners, one belongs to the FSS (lemon grass @ downtown). intitally, the food was not too bad but servings were small.. only when it came to the last 2 dishes. softshell crab that was consider oily n really soft.. eee.. last dish serve was peeled prawn in thai curry sauce. the coconut milk was covering the freshness of everything on the plate n everyone agreed that it tasted weird. we proceed to esplanade for ice-cream, wanted to go to al denta but with only 3 types of desserts on the menu, we went off disappointedly. ended having hagen daz ice-cream (yummy but really sweet..). after biding farewell, we went to another party @ changi village, one of the gals bought a dog recently (cant remember the breed but at @2k, you can easily distinguish that it is a pure breed), nice long fur, really obedient. but my Bae bullies the poor animal, all the gals commented that he is going to be very strict with his children in the future.

on sun, as usual, Bae woke up late for church service. i had to scream at him for speeding which i hated. when service ended, we went proceed with our plans on fetching P/H, lunch @ long house n walk at Macritche. we wanted the 10km walk but ended with additional as we brought P/H to the treetop. again, over there, i lost control of screaming for my fears of heights n the unstability of the shaky bridge. i was trembling n shivered of cold sweats as i completed the treetop. i will never never attempt to walk by my own (i swear). overall, it was great walk as the weather was windy, n the breeze is constantly in the air. as we walked, of course, we stopped at the beautiful views near the golf course area. the red-tail fishes swimming n the families of turtles/tortoises swimming n suntanning. but as there was bits of downpour over the last few weeks, the fields n tracks were muddy. but no worries, we will be back soon!! :)
