Thank God! One of the extremely exciting day since wedding prep has started.

Took half a day from work to sign the venue contract. It was a pleasant surprise that it was opened to public. Therefore, we dont need to ask around for pple who are members to help us. Second, the place was great and the co-ordinator was a very helpful lady. Must give her credit for following up with me and answering my enquiries. We have signed the agreement and placed the deposit. Very blissful to say that we have finally secure the venue for our wedding day!

Next was the gown fitting. Was definitely rush after being late, rushing for another place. It took us 2 and half hours to decide what we want! Come to think of it, very short and speedy one compare to some I have read from forum that they took half a day or more!

First selection was my actual day dress. They took from display and tries numberous of type of wedding dress I like, described to my designer. In the end, she told me that she will do a made-to-measure (MTM) for me! My surprise is that it is a FOC upgrade at no extra cost! PTL!! Cause my co-ordinator has warned me that it will cost another $1k to top up MTM in case I dont select from off-the-rack. Dear and I were worried and concerned. So, she told me it was FOC.. I was smiling from the bottom of my heart. Brand new and designed specially for ME!! Happiness overflowing. You can have the laugh - the designer for my MTM wedding dress is my BF and bridal designer. All I did was sitting there to enjoy my tea while two of them discussed my likings.

Second, the evening gown for photo shoot. Tried various colours and designs. Designer was busy entertaining another couple, she told us to help ourselves. And we sure did! We browsed through all on the racks. In the end, was stuck between 3 dresses - a very sweet pinky princess EG, a sexy shocking pink EG and shocking green 'mermaid' EG. Tried twice, in between 2 designers saw me trying and said the green sure looked nice on me.. It was also previously on the window display. They told me not a lot pple cant take the colour and cut. So, I said a YES for it.

Third, the tea dress. I can decide a month before actual day. No hurry. They showed me a few that I was not so keen. To be frank, tea dress are always very simple, plain and boring. So another surprise in store, my designer told me as long as the sweet pinky princess EG is available on my wedding date (as I like very much but she find it too unadventurous for my PS), I can just tell her and it will be another upgrade at no cost!

Last, the suit for Dear. He also is indecisive between 2. Yes, surprise, he is having tuxedo and multi-wear 'chinese collar' for the PS too!

It was a fruitful day for us (Though sounds like more for me..)!

We thank God for the marvelous surprise He has for us. We are praying harder as we work harder for the day to come.

He's at work! Shhhuusssshh....
