Appreciation dinner at Happy Restaurant, Lion City Hotel @ Haig Rd.

Only walking past the place and thought that it is a super cheena restaurant. To my surprise, it was fully renovated with a modernize feel. Food was average. Our table won a box of flower vases from Ikea. Never failed to go back home empty-handed each year, that's what I heard from the guys.

I wanted to see the countryside kitchen concept that was featured in the interior magazine. Intitally, we thought that Joo Chiat Complex was the right one, we went off the Tanjong Katong Mall, then finally, T.K. Complex. What confusion!! Thank God it is all link. Image if I mixed up Tanjong Katong mall with Tanjong Pagar Mall etc.

Asked ard for quote for the concept of kitchen that we wanted since we are there. It's btw SGD3-4k. Minimize style is nice too. But usually, it is in white or light colours. Out for lazy people like us. Salesman asked about floor plan. No house leh. No la, never reply that to them. We will ask for actual quote when we get our house.
