Took half a day this afternoon. Some wedding co-ordination again.
Met up with a new co-ordinator for my wedding venue. She's good and at least, much friendlier than previous lady. She pointed quite a bit of details that we have missed out previously. She has also given more ideas for the wedding plans. Out of all, more invitation cards. Hopefully, there wont be change of hands again, heard that staff turnover rates are high. Cant image explaining and going through the details again.
Shortly, we rushed off to select our wedding pics. Saw a big pile of photos on the table awaiting for us. Total, probably around 400++. First selection, we picked 170+ pics. They calculated, it will burn a big hole of close to $8K if we really do so (on top of the basic package which is SGD4K). Great thing it's dinner time and we break for dinner. Over meal, we discussed on the strategy. Any pics that we have any bad comment about each other is out. So, tough one. In the end, no matter how we select, it's like a pinch as we put it from the album cause some pics are really nice, specially the studio ones. The outdoor ones are lousy; our faces like round and somehow, ugly. But contradicting, we still have a big headache. We took the offer the BS gave.
For SGD2K top-up, total of 73 pics spilt into 2 albums (1-indoor and 1-outdoor). Plus 3 squarish indvidual portrait and another 20 pics for a 4R album. Instead of one pose for thank you cards, we can select 3 poses. I get to retain my afternoon make-up. Tried to get back the EG but manager rejected my request :(
Very tiring, image we left the place close to midnight. We've been there for coming to 8hrs!
And now, I am typing these, I remembered in fact we have to select 20 pics from the big album for duplicate small one. OMG!
I guessed another 1-2hrs to be spent there tomorrow!
