It's 2.40am. I am still awake. Running through the checklists and pointers for helpers for the AD.
Starting to feel nervous, not about getting married but whether things are in tact, assurance that every thing will run smoothly as planned, back-up should any issue arise.
For 2 weeks, I have been sleeping btw 2-3am. So, really not that tired after awhile.
A recap. DIY stuff I done - wedding/childhood montage, car decorations, wrist corsages for helpers, basket arranged with sweets for kids (or rather who think they are kids at heart heehe), hongbao box, itinerary, helper listing, checklist, songs etc.. seems endless..
Today, of course, some frustration as the big day approaches but things undone. Sorry dear if I have bent my anger on you. Sometimes, I hope you react faster to what I want instead of forgetting or doing it slowly.
An afternoon talking session with my mum. Her advice for me - to learn how to be patient and cherish my relationship with my hubby-to-be. She recalled how life was when we are young - living in poverty and at one point, she dont feel the love from my dad and the finances issues. Remembering every cents she saved , there was once my sister who was a treasurer in her class had stole her money during P.E. and she came home crying non-stop. She was sad and worried. When my mum offered to within the little money she had in her bank, my sis asked how can she spend my mum's money and still accepted without a choice. I felt so sad hearing and recalling what happened too.
Looking back, good that it's the past. I really hope that all of us learnt to be filial to my mum especially and pray for good health for her. And of course, I will listen to her golden words - to learn how to cherish a new relationship.
Today is rehearsal day. I felt so relaxed and happy as I practise walking down the aisle - the day is coming!! :) My flower gal love the pinky 'angel wings' I bought for her!
Also, our 9th year of courtship anniversary. No celebration at all with tight busy schedule. We went for supper with HL and JY. A well-taken pix captures the Ups and Downs of this 9-yr :)
