At 1.40pm, the ceremony was about to start. The swordbearers are ready. My pageboy, flower gal and my dad at the entrance of ballroom waiting for me.
A slow and beautiful entrance. But my gown was too long and I got caught few times while walking down the aisle. Finally, dad handling over my hands from my dad to my Dar.
There we stood. While worship, memories of courtship etc went through our minds. When our favourite chinese song came, we cried. We just felt fill of emotions. Maybe this day has finally arrived for us - the day we've been waiting for.
The sermon preached. For wife (me) to be submissive to my husband and for him, to learn how to treat me with gentleness.
Shortly, the wedding vow. We chose to memorise our vow so that there is an indepth meaning to this special day. But of course, with nervousness, we forgotten one or two words, helped each other as we said out the vows.
Finally, the moment to unveil the bride. Remembering our friend who taught Dar how to unveil by rolling instead of pulling over the head, he did follow the instructions! A long kiss. No NG or take 2.. Hahah..
Proceed with signing of marriage certificate. I glanced down the stage to have a look at the guests. So touching, all my closed friends came :) Last before march-out, we light up the unity candle. Symbolising 2 lives as 1.
