There are some happenings or hiccups that happened which you may not know:
CorsagesDarling had wore the wrong corsage. Instead of the pink rose, he wore the purple orchid. In fact, he has video down the question marks on whom the pink rose corsage belongs to? Should take a look at that clip, very funny..
DriverOur friend cum driver woke up late. So the guys arrived at my place first and as our friend approaches then they sound the honk to wake up my whole neighbourhood up.
Gate-CrashingThe gals has forgotten about my super lemon sweets which guys are supposed to put in their mouths and sing a song. Also, no time for guys to wear red and blue underwent to sing superman/batman song and do a pole dance.
Family PortraitSince young, I have only ONE family photo that was taken when I am 6 or 7 (The one seen in my grown up montage). Thereafter, NIL. So, on my wedding day, it's the 2nd time that I will be having another family portrait. I reminded my PG took more shots. I can forgo everything except for this. So, I cant wait to have a print-out to put it at home, in my room and at my cubicle.
PoppersWhile leaving my place, they forgotten to bring down the poppers, red umbrella and asked my dad go downstairs. So, there was a five mins delay. At RTC, there are poppers as we made our exit. But no idea who bought it as we were told it is not allowed. Thanks anyway!
Flower GirlMy lovely, cheery flower girl has forgotten to bring the pinky angel wings which I bought for her. But no worries, as long as she's happy walking down the aisle.
Start of CeremonyEveryone was early, much to our surprise. First time the ceremony I've been, starts on the dot.
Wedding & Ring VowDar has only memorised the wedding vow on the eve of wedding. He has missed out some words, but of course, we helped one another. Our pastor has also asked us to recite another meaningful ring vow instead of the usual.
Throwing of Flower BouquetBefore I went on stage, PG warned me the consquence if no one is willing to come out, I will be paiseh. True enough, in the end, I called out by names, except for my colleagues who are shy, rest came out. From what I heard, the flower bouquet landed on friend's sis but she is too shy to pick it up, so it went to my CG mate.
Ang BaoA friend has forgotten to put money into his red packet, so gave us an empty one. Another friend has also attended the ceremony and forgot about passing it to us till he reached home.
OeiFriend has told us and we heard over radio on my way back from bank to RTC.
When you are in first stage of courtship, you call each other Dear, Dar, Baby, Honey, Sweetie etc. When you're married, you call one another Hubby, Lao Po, Lao Gong etc. When you have kids, you call each other Daddy, Mummy etc. When you are married for many years and old, you call him/her - Oei.Within 24 hours after we were legally married, while making our exit from suite for breakfast, he said loudly :"OEI, let's go for BF". He win already lor, skipped the procedure.
