I wonder whether I am a bad or mean sister-in-law.
Well, two weeks in a row, I got something bad to comment while talking to my younger sister-in-law. Last week, Hubby and I actually told her that she should consider marriage seriously if she want to register her marriage. She told us she intends to at the end of this year as they want to get a flat. So, the question was when and why? She had no idea when she wants to get the flat/new/resales/build-to-order. To Hub, he felt that she's still young not ready as she is still under bond/training as well as other reasons. To me, she's not ready cause just to sign on the ROM certificate for flat doesnt equal to seriously thinking about committing down. In the end, we encourage them to enroll in the pre-marriage course, which comes handy and useful for seriousness of marriage that one may never discuss openly and opinion may differs.
This evening, I saw her marking test papers and writing down the formula and answers. I asked her why she does that. She told me so that the students may understand. I told her, if she mean it well, probably is to explain after giving paper away and explaning the reason, had them to write down to obtain right answers. Her method is spoon-feeding and students will not learn. If she does not have time, pick the few that most students had major mistakes.
Sigh.. See, like mean, mean sister-in-law I am right? Hubby told me there is nothing to feel guilty about. It's only direct communication. Too direct mah??
Ya, I admit, sometimes, I am. Last Sun, I told a groom-to-be off. Today, when I met them for rehearsal, again. Simply too messy, things are not organised. Waste too much time in discussion. No complete listing. Now, not only I am gan-cheong, the helpers too (everyone gave that HOW? look). We talked till the church keeper had to lock the place, at least, things are 80% finalised and from there to get things moving on Sat.
Pray hard. Things will run. Reminders, burnt oil also will help to oversee the issues. Sat is going to be a wonderful day for both! :)
