Was super late for this wedding dinner @ Royal Plaza Beach Rd.

My ex-colleague's wedding. Someone that I was quite close to during my 1-year in that stressful job environment before landing in current. We practically dont see the sun. That's because we went to work at 8am and knockoff work btw 8-11pm most of the time, weekend also burnt at work. The kaki will go and buy dinner or take a break after 6pm every day to talk but work, stress, the programs related to work etc. Some bad bonding and never healthy ones as we are totally pressured from top of our hair to bottom of our feet.

In short, we went off almost at the same time. Quit after a year. 6-7 of us. 3 went back because there was increment and promotion. I am sort of the only one who was never 100% tempted to back. Well, we kept in contact but my ex-coll dont dare to complain much about work as I told that's what in store when she goes back.

Today is her BIG day. Happy for her. Looks like she and hubby had a great time.

6 of us attended. 3 sales and 2 managers. 2 years does not make much diff! Still the same old self. Just that some stay, some move moreon.

1 of them became a Daddy! Proud dad of a babe. :) Another trying for a baby. 1 noticed my band and they encourage me to have a baby early. But I am still keen to study. And coincidently, one of the gang just completed his degree at the same institute and similar course. He was telling me it's not easy. He got a 2nd lower honours and nobody in the batch got 1st, so far, he also have not heard of anyone who got 1st. Wow, not easy, he mentioned be prepared to be stuck at library all the time and forget about weekends.

One of the managers whom I used to report to for short term, asked whether I am keen to be a brand assistant. Looks like a good opportunity but if I do a part-time study, can I cope? Will hook up with her soon.

Before leaving, of course, hugs and handshakes. Yeah, I will see them soon. At least, keeping in touch with 2 of them.
