DISC Personality TestD - Dominant/Driver
I - Influencing/Inspiring
S - Stable/Steady
C - Compliant/Correct
Our Sunday School has organised the DISC test. The last round I did it was during MPC last year. Being at SS as a team leader is different as compared to home/relationship. This time, no surprise. At SS, I am a I-S. Influencing/Inspriring followed but Stable/Steady. Probably, I also believed that I have to step up to teach and influence the younger generation. Overall, no pressure though mask/public self and mirror/perceived self differs slightly.
I did another round for general (How I am in life). I agreed, some pressure, stressed, probably new family, marriage, CG and work had changed me a fair bit. Overall, I am a S-C-I. Hub did it too, surprisely, same, undergoing and adapting to changes from previously a High I-S to the current S-I-C.
We happened to fall under same category:
Advocate/Agent/One Who Makes Peace
Individuals who are steady, sociable individual who strive for positive relationships at work and home. Tends toward individualism and independence if 'I' is their secondary characteristics (Hub). If 'C' is their secondary characteristics, they will be more passive and detailed oriented (ME). Once they make up their mind, it can be difficult to change the mind. They like people to support their idea; they tend to support the underdog. They may take opposing sides if a disagreement and leave feeling frustrated if things dont go their way. They need to be accepted as part of a team. Decisions can be difficult for them unless their bounderies are very clearly defined.
They tend to be moderate, thorough, and dependable people. Often willing to intercede for another on their behalf. Have a strong sense of justice and loyalty. Their style is known for their common sense. Always try to think through both sides of an issue. Tends to be great peace makers, since they see many different viewpoints to an issue; and their peacemaking will be forucs on the people involved, not just the issue. Since they are relational, they are very sensitive to the feelings of other. Not sure how true. But for both of us, probably after settling with a house will be able to stablise our characters. I think we are still searching for our directions in life at this point of time.
Break a Leg @ MacRitchie - SundayHubby's friend had 'jio' us out for a walk at MacRitchie which we are keen since both of us have not workout for the longest time.
So, four of us - K.C, GF, Hub and I took the 10km walk, which took est. 2hrs 20mins to complete. Havent jog for a long time and with the rocky track, was breathless. The hardest was the intial 3.6km. Thereafter was the part to push ourselves to finish off. No turning back and no point, sigh.. Full concentration, though yes, tired and restless (My mind was saying - why am I here???). When I completed it - HURRAY>> I would love to do it next week.. Hahaah... Burn fat mah..
But after the walk, we bid goodbye, Almaka! Forgot to show them our AD wedding album. Never mind, next time loh :O
