Today Blog's entries consist of (2) - One is by Hubby and myself. Hope the content is not too mushy.. ;P
BY HUBBY Hi sugar baby girl... that's how I would call you. Hmmm... This is my first time writing a blog. And I'm actually writing for you or to you? Oh well... for this past 1 month, we both insufficient sleep... And you've interupted sleep because of all my alarm clocks (Total 3)Ha ha... Sorry baby, disturbed your beauty sleep.
Right now as we're in the mist of getting te keys to our new house, there are the preparation work which we are doing. ie working out the budget for monthly loans, and of course the design of the house...
Talking about the design, of course need to talk about the details on colours, type of lightings, type of sofa, dinning area... well.. Little girl is so excited that she's always reading forums, searching info on the web till late nights... "Woo... Wooo... Wwuuu... Zzz... Zzz.."(Your Hubby eyes are getting heavier..., please take over your own blog... I'm going to Zzzzzz.... "Gao Gao Ju-Sleep sleep pig in cantonese" Oink Oink - Good night)

By MEIt's been tiring like what Hubby mentioned.
Now, Hub has been posted to Changi and he's always on morning shift. He wakes up really early like 5.00am and I have to kick him with the alarm clocks ringing non-stop and turning deaf as it's considered extremely loud. But little boy 'gao gao ju' (the phrase I learnt recently).
We are due to go for 2nd appt on 12 Feb. So far, we are still deciding on the concept. Btw modern country style and modern. Tough. But first - look for contractors, compared quotes. Accordingly what I learnt from my friend - hacking, wetwork, air-con installation, lights, paint, wood-works etc.. Complicated for first-timer!
This CNY is like approaching sooon but yet done up anything like packing. And most of all, hongbao for younger kids. Hahah, a bit excited.
Been sleeping late not just on forum but work late, want personal time to surf net. Hubby is more of 'books' person and I am a 'net' person.
He's now ironing his uniform. I am too tired that I have not iron his clothes for him for awhile.
Friday is finally here. But later, I will be in the office packing the room as products are here.. Wish I have time to go shopping! And window shopping for house..
Time is running out daily for me. More please!

Time is short, everyday passes by fast without looking back.
Just got notify last weekend that we can collect our house key this Sat. Big shock, not really and prepared. In the end, we have changed the appointment to mid Feb. We kept thinking it will be ready in 3 month's time.
Need to start sourcing for quotations. Really wanna hack the kitchen wall, not sure about bedroom 1 but space is small, so planning and lotsa measurement is a must and budget control, no intention to take bank loan, meaning savings will be almost back to nil with furnishing later. But money can be earned back later.
Still coping with dissertation draft. Early feb will be CNY, these weekend with intention to pack, rather springcleaning for both my room at mum's plc and my IL's plc. Mid Feb, school reopens with more lessons per week, shortly key collections and renovation, then business trip and seems that there is possibility that I will not be around for more than 2 weeks.
Need more time, it's treasure, priceless and nothing I can to do to buy time.

I cant image that someone thought I am preggie. OMG! (Cause during my exams, my MSN states: No more freedom)
Hubby looks forward to be a daddy. But no time, with work, school, projects, travelling, new house coming. It's a no-no at this point of time.
I remember intitally, in courtship days, we talked about having kids. I prefered just 2 and over the years, with peers having kids. I am scared that I am not able to cope, so I keep thinking I will have one. And with some many things taking place, my reply is No.
For those awaiting good news from me - not now. I will be more than willing to be a 1st-time angbao giver. And yes, only from a generation younger than me. So, bring your kids, not u and I will give you the red packet loh! ;P

Been busy, not with exam research but the Big boy is still all excited about our new house.
We have visiting our house area a bit. We have asked for quote from an renovator, a well-know design ID and a popular ID just to get some ideas. Some more or less, the same concept with this 'cosy' home area.
This evening, we went to his colleague's apartment (yes, not flat). Very well renovated and they did not engage any ID. Save a lot of $$ and hard work supervising and it's tough. Well, at least very good results I should say. Some inspiration and an encouragement cause most friends has advised us to retain from DIY. But with our budget, not much choice. Now, we are looking into ideas and yes, likely to DIY our place. After talking to him, for housewarming present, vouchers is really the best - they received too much double or many of same goods like vaccum cleaner, mini plasma tv, juice maker!
I think both of us must have the basics. If everything goes well which we planned:
End March - key of new house
April till May - Hacking, reno
Mid June - home to be our own
Not easily obtained but with advance planning, I got feeling it's going to be a wonderful and great place!
Better top dreaming now and back to reading for my exams..
It's good to DREAM and dare to hv one! =)

Next Wednesday is my exams. I am stucked to the net, looking thru facebook.
Hub started nagging me, now, he's looking to facebook too.. haha..
Found some long lost friends from ex-church, got married, growth up, have kids. Time flies. I think I am still the same - young at heart. I cant image someone calling me 'mummy' though most of my peers have kids but at the current, this status will remains.

Just finished packing and tidying up the bedroom.
Extremely messy with so much things lying around. Lotsa rubbish and useless paper, bags etc. And staying near the main road really made it worse - dusty.
After this weekend, I will try to concentrate working on my project and exams! ;( so fast, holidays are always super short! Must work harder, just my marks for dissertation draft. Quite low, though I managed to pass. Can tell that I didnt put in much effort.
My time table has been planned upto June:
Mid Jan - exams
End Jan - Project and meeting with dissertation lecturer for follow-up
Feb - start of new term (3 times per week)
Early Mar - 2 weeks business trip
End Mar - maybe house keys are ready
Apr - Another business trip
End Apr - should be also busy with house reno
May - Exams
Jun - Meeting deadline for final yr project
Above seems easy. Not sure how I will jungle with more new adjustments.
Really pray hard everything will run smoothly!!

Happy New Year!
No resolution this year.. Have not been fulfiling what I want to do for past years.
Hubby has banned me from using too much of internet at home. He noticed I got hooked to the PC once I am at home. But he's not been complaining for past 6 mths, not sure why now? Maybe I spend a quite of time on facebook? Also on project research what.
Hub has been excited and every night, he has been sketching floor plan. Well, nothing out of the drawings..
He's back. Better go.. Nag nag nag :(
