Been busy, not with exam research but the Big boy is still all excited about our new house.
We have visiting our house area a bit. We have asked for quote from an renovator, a well-know design ID and a popular ID just to get some ideas. Some more or less, the same concept with this 'cosy' home area.
This evening, we went to his colleague's apartment (yes, not flat). Very well renovated and they did not engage any ID. Save a lot of $$ and hard work supervising and it's tough. Well, at least very good results I should say. Some inspiration and an encouragement cause most friends has advised us to retain from DIY. But with our budget, not much choice. Now, we are looking into ideas and yes, likely to DIY our place. After talking to him, for housewarming present, vouchers is really the best - they received too much double or many of same goods like vaccum cleaner, mini plasma tv, juice maker!
I think both of us must have the basics. If everything goes well which we planned:
End March - key of new house
April till May - Hacking, reno
Mid June - home to be our own
Not easily obtained but with advance planning, I got feeling it's going to be a wonderful and great place!
Better top dreaming now and back to reading for my exams..
It's good to DREAM and dare to hv one! =)
