Woke up early at 5am to fetch Hub from T2.
His friend ruined my secret of thinking I will stay at home and head for work.. Once he reached, Hub sms his friend (HL).. Then replied is HL waiting for me under the void deck. Sigh.. no more secret.
We managed to go off before 6.30am, head for RED STAR near my workplace for tim sum. No mood, I felt so tired.. Of course, the whole day feeling sleepy.
Went to our new place for checks on carpentry. The workmanship didnt turn out to be expected, quite disappointment. Then a few issues like alignments and design was not practical. Sigh.. what a day!
Anyway, back at home, Hubby showed me the presents he bought, he knows me so well! Right type of belt, right size for shirt and pants which is the toughest... just fit, he knows me too well. I've been a lousy wife, I know nothing about him..
Now is unpacking the stuff..

Today sets a record of knocking off early at 7pm and coming home for dinner at mum's place around 8pm. Nothing beats home-cooked food, hot soup which I haven't eaten for a long time! Human beings take things for granted. For a period of time, I long to eat outside food and now, always 'tabao' dinner most of the time, I long for home-cooked food!
2 days to Hubby's return. He will be back on Thursday morning, and I will set off for work. He did ask about whether I would take leave to accompany him but I would rather spend time at work and knock off early to spend the evening with him and Fri I can do the same! Current email amount received is tremendous, one hundred plus per day and when I was in previous job, I may only received the same amount in est. 1-2 weeks. Today, boss proposed that I should get a laptop. Well, should I be happy? This means I dont have to work in office till wee hours or be back in office over weekend or to go back on leave to generate reports but again, I will have to do at home and over weekend.
GSS is on! Look forward for buying more stuff for the new house on weekend. Like bedsheets.. many threadcounts and super soft and... super expensive.. hahah... I am paying ok. My boss mentioned he lost profit marrying his wife, well, my Hub, he makes. at least I never insist that he should pay for my things or giving allowance. Read an article on Sunday Times and successful woman keeps individual account from Hubby.. Maybe I should learn.
Taking a long week break before starting my thesis, and one more module to go before I finish the whole course (which i cant wait to)! Thereafter, I must reward myself with a holiday and planning to correct my eyes. Yes, the blindness of high-degree (600 per side) and seeing friends succeed in getting almost perfect eyesight and the reduced price over the years. I will do it after my last paper next term!

Just reached home.. Haven't been relaxing on Sat and great time to catch up with friends.
Woke up washing and hanging the laundry. Went out to Orchard for lunch with BFF (A new term we used in my company: Best Friend Forever). Weather was super hot, she need to subscript to i-weekly magazine with some freebie throw in. So hot, and the CS guy who served us will be under the tentage or hot sun whole day. I can only said "STAY COOL".. Went for Japan food and bought the amazing milk foam mixer I have looking for. It's available at Taka and I always go to TANGS with out of stock situation. Finally got one!! Now can make cuppacino at home! Wonderful!
Went to Great world, window shop and can decide on some items after Hub comes back. Coffee and cheese cakes, proceed to meet another friend.
Some chat and was there for whole evening. She's been depressed for some time and now feeling better.. Now home, I think will sleep till late afternoon tmr!
Great to be feeling so good on a weekend!

Yepz! 3 projects and 2 papers DOWN! =)
Just as I jump and rejoice, my thesis supervisor wrote the email to meet up next Sat to inspect the status of our final year project (10,000 words).. OMG, in this course, I have kinda read the most no. of books within my entire life within 9 mths (which is a record, I just hate to read journals, management books etc).
Well, I also realised NL has good collection of designer books for furniture, home spacing allocation. I was at the library doing my research one afternoon and realised the amazing collection of designer paintings, collections, decoration books etc by chance.. Yes, in the end, I spent 1 hour at the corner reading such stuff.. I am quite into it since my sec school days, while my classmates snooze off during the 4 hrs designing class, I look forward to every single min and secs! Haha.. My current job is a well-balanced of co-ordination and designing which I quite like in a way. I hope I have the opportunity to upgrade myself in using MAC one day!
Will enjoy this weekend while I still can. Start smsing friends for breakfast, lunch and tea.. Hahah.. Shopping too.. it's been months since I stepped into shopping centre for some decent shopping.. All my office attire has been repeating, so sick of it, plus my shoes too.. cant wait.. Recently, I got some inspiration for DIY items for new house! Need to buy materials and start shopping for decor (one of the places: I Wanna Go Home at Great World). Now, the ID is also pending for Hub's green light to proceed with some final decision.
Counting down is the return of Hub. Less than 7 days.. HURRYY... His MSN friends been asking me too.. Well, your kaki is coming back soon for makan, jogging, a swim! (He told me he really missed Singapore food and of course, missing me more la...)

Feeling vexed. Just cant focus on my exams. Paper is in the afternoon. Weather is hot. I am also not feeling well since last night. I miss Hubby. Just cant sleep the whole night, cant focus and concentrate too..

It's going to be long weekend with a P/H on Monday.
Tuesday is another paper. So, taking opportunity to relax myself.. Loads of rubbbish to laze myself for the paper. I will make my way to N/L later. Referencing quote: 658 is the place where all materials is found. Hahah.. we are so familiar with the place; the location of books.. My next module lecturer happens to be my thesis lecturer, so no more excuses that we dont have time to meet up with him!
Went down to new place. Nothing has been done since the paint is up. Someone locked the master room's door by accident, I made a trip just to unlock that door! The handover of the reno supposed to be next week, looks like delay and with Hubby's check, it will difficult to do everything by end of the month. With that, I need to buy a tv console and study table and we may shift in, oh yes, the important curtains.. never know that curtain can be expensive. as we are not getting off the rack (ikea rod does not last with my current experience). We need to set ard 2k for whole house curtains. Store room racks, and with cleaning, I should have my decent home by end June.. Cant wait.. House warming!!
Back to reality soon. Stop dreaming!!!

Today I took leave to study, yet not focusing. Sigh, so useless.. wasted the whole afternoon.. What happened? Dont ask me.
I did a bit of reading yet my mind runs. This evening, I packed my things and came back to my IL's place. My student pass needed for tmr paper are in the drawer.
Hubby called. I miss him, I am counting daily for his return back to S'pore. I wish he's here. I am sure he will just nag at me for not giving my best! Another 15 days to go..

This is morning, my colleague from another brand was telling me she was in similar situation when she started work in my company. Plans to get married, housing and studying.. But it was bitterness turning sweetness when she looked back cause it was really one toughest situation. She could understand my shoes especially now I am coping alone.. Sigh.. I hope so, it just the wrong timing.
But after surviving for months, I learnt a lot, more than ever. It's tough I admit, though thoughts of white flag and keeping running though my mind, HOW HOW?? Well, that's woman power I guess.. It seems I never escape from similar situtation. Last time, I co-ordinated my own wedding w/o my closest sister and boyfriend (now hubby). Now, it btw work, house and school alone. So, I wont admit lost!!
Today, out the whole day for Tax free event, back to work at 7plus.. Now, I can relax my mind and focus my mind for exams this Thurs..
My plans for tmr:
7.30am - Wake up
8.00am - Travel to new place
8.30am - Hougang for breakfast, then to shop for change items for new place
10.30 - lighting shop to resolve the errors
11.00am - early lunch and study at IL's place
early evening - dinner with my overseas colleagues
late evening - back to mum's place
As usual, all things should be settled.. I need a headstart! =)

For months, this is the first time I got to spend a lazy and decent weekend at home.
Nowadays, I am hopping in between 3 homes - my own parents, my IL and new place renovation. To be frank, it's totally exhausted with work and home reno plus assignments. I managed to complete 3 assignments within 2-3 weeks, spending the most time reading books, journels which I never done in my entire life! Plus running around buying stuff and co-ordinating the reno checks, which I think my designer has fears to receive 'love' emails from me every time I goes by for a check.
Work is never endless which i agreed. But being labelled as a 'workaholic' I will download stuff home and stayed till midnight to catch up with emails that I have not replied when i am on leave.
For once, my Hubby cum my best friend, my supporter being away for the longest since we are together, I admit life is tough w/o love though we call another twice per day. My question is always "can you come back earlier?" an impossible question..
Sigh, I am so tired but counting down another 18 days..
Be STRONG, be BRAVE, he's coming back soon!

My encounter with one of the rude taxi drivers this evening while coming home.
The frustrating part started when I was waiting for the cab. It comes in all direction except for mine :( I looked, waited and walk for 30mins. This is as good as taking bus back to my IL's place!
It came, with this uncle switching some Chinese radio channel at loud volume, I told him the destination and louder it became, just part 1 of story. He refused to take the route I suggest and stick to the one he wants insist there is no jam. He brakes often, dash thru almost turning red light. When slight jam, he overcuts the rest, honks at others and brakes again. Then he told me "Miss, just take the express pay 100 (he meant $1.00) will have no jam).. Well, I did in the first place..At the jam area, he insisted it is a bit and brakes and scold other drivers at loud radio volume, he murmur here and there. Mobile rings, picks up w/o ear piece and continue talking.. OMG..
Anyway, I took the receipt.Now I got his taxi number. For the 1st time in my life, I am going to write to the taxi provider for a complaint!
That's my bad encounter for tonight.

Progressing to 3 weekend for house renovation.
This evening I hopped by the place after work. It is the first-time going alone at night.. And first-time having the house lighted. So glad that the lightings are up. Some work rectification to do, wrong position, no dimmer control, some bulbs missing. Only is room 2 that lights are not up. But overall, it's not too bad. Now checking with designer whether some changes can be done. It's first time, I felt a different feeling being a house-owner (Despite my sis's visit last Sun, first sentence after viewing "Huh, so small ah").. Haha I know if you compare my mum to my own.. It's been a world of different. But anyway, I am happy.. More to come and looking forward for finishing soon.. Hee hee..
But scary thing is after getting out of the place myself at 9pm. Rows of foreign worker sitting downstairs.. Mmmm.. I need a guy to protect me :(

Weather been hot for past a week.
Some sleepy disease going through my body. Been sleeping and I have been catching up on my assignments. Tough man, unsure on what to write. I need more research work but time is short. Wrote too much nonsense.. which does not made sense to me too. Haha.. life of a worker and PT student.
In SA, weather is freezing, accordingly to Hub, 10 degree.. and his skin is cracking.. We talk over the phone twice per day - morning and midnight. Normally catching up on renovation updates.
I need some encouragement, feel so lousy recently. Some motivation to carry on. Sob Sob.. I am lost ;o

Overslept this morning. Woke up closed to afternoon. It is the only issue I have when staying with my own mum. Seeing that I am tired, she will let me sleep more and ended no time left.
A hot hot afternoon, took a direct bus from mum's place to new place (8 bus stops away - hahah, so near!!)
Colour paint is up. Cream yellow somehow makes the room warm on a hot afternoon.. Paint for main wall for master room is untouch but it sure looked a bit too pink (not sure if Hub can accept).
Some rectified works for the cracks which to hacking of wall and aircon piping. Overall, things are quite alright.
Was walking toward the train station which 5mins away from new place, realised, Woww.. building NTUC market (Sounds Aunty) but it's so convenient! Wwow.. place is near train station and now NTUC.. haha.. happy.
Went to national library.. it was closed! :( silly, of course, it's labour day..
You cant have the best of both worlds!
