I felt so relief now! :)

After so many months of hardwork, the final year project had been submitted on Monday. That's 10,000 words.. OMG it's like finding the most research I have done in my entire life! Spending countless weekdays and weekends in school and national library. When I was about to submit my dissertation, realised the grammer has even correct some of my company's name. It's alright, what's done cant be undone.

Finally, I can go shopping, I can hang out with friends, I am do some things I long to do.. But just another paper marks the end of my uni life! Hahah... Feeling extremely lighthearted now.

Looking forward for weekend to come. So much to things to do!

Finally, I got a Life!

4 more days to go before dissertation deadline.

It's been a long tiring way for this final year project. Well, in comparison, my classmates and I always complained that schedule was very tight. But this evening, I heard few batches before us were worse, it completely compact. So, some of our lecturers felt that it is the quality that we have not been putting effort into.

I should be ending the project soon with more things added. My findings and analysis is my weakness, I think I need help. Given 2 days over weekend, I think it may be rush.

Tomorrow, I mean today will be strategy training at hotel for whole day, meaning no time to do the project. I think I am really a very slower mover. Like what Hubby said, he also thinks I have more motivation to work under stress.

Well, will see. I look forward to finish off and this final part will part away... hahah..

Stop dreaming and back to reality!

Awaiting for Hub to pick me up from my mum's place. He's finishing work late due to some delay.

We have shifted to the new place. Some changes adapting to new place. No internet access. We are taking time to consider, less distraction and he shifted the old tv over. Makes me feels like watching tv program. One week to final year project, need to work hard. I think work hard on supper. Been eating a lot to burn midnight oil. I gain 3kg! Sigh, I need to workout after my papers. My face is so round!

Been locking myself in the library, so bored. I wish can go shopping. Missed GSS, but I can go any time after my papers.

It's rained, I hanged clothes to dry since morning, but I think I have to rewash it when I reach home later.

Waiting for him, I packed stuffs I bought donkey years ago thinking. Now, I think it may not fit the style of my current 'modern' home concept. ;( I have to stop buying things. We checked the account last night, wow.. $$ is like water, cant see how it run. Well, good, means less supper and less shopping then. Let's save more money for rainy day.

Now, considering whether I should take up another insurance plan. Save $$ for old... hee hee,, thinking too far liao.

Boring, I wanna go home!

Been wondering..

I was looking forward for my birthday to come! So, I decided to hunt for my own cake! But it seems too attractive! Well, the trend is getting cupcakes and it looks good! Then prima deli has good belgium chocolate cake too but because of incident earlier, not sure if friends can swallow the cake if they know it's from there.

So, I am shortlisting (2).

1) Bakerzinn
2) Cupcakedivinity

Woman! Complicated mind!

This weekend, I had a small accident. I bumped into my glass door in my study room which hub cant control his laughter and always remind me to put it in this blog. I was reading with high focus and kept walking. Hubby sitting at the dinning area awaits for the 'show'. Bad guy, never shout to stop me. It was a loud bang and I was in total shock! Thank God nothing happen to the glass but I was in total daze for a minute or so.

On Sat, I cooked the first meal at the new place - breakfast. I kept telling Hubby I do not want my first homecooked meal at new place to be miserable. So in the middle of the night, we went to the 24hr NTUC. Spent around 1 hr there as it was Friday and at 1am plus, no crowd. So I cooked 'light breakfast' but first time using the pot to cook was tough with the limited utensils we have.

At night, we went to cold storage and bought a tefal pan that is on promotion and with miscellaneous nonsense, it is more than our budget as usual with ice-cream, snacks etc. This morning, guess what? Hubby made breakfast for me, I think he experienced the oilness of cooking and mopping.. hee, hee.. not easy lah.

Today, we missed church service. Woke up late. So, I spent the afternoon at school library. Later, we went to Great World. iWannaGoHome is having annual sale. Surprisingly, not a single item purchase from there. But we bought something.. big hole in the pocket again. We went to Lifestorey. We saw a white storage container followed by a small coffee blue table. It's kinda expensive, but attracted by the price with discount, we bought w/o hesitation. In the end, when we brought back to the new place, we realised the coffee table is too small to compliment our sofa and the color is out, sigh!! I dont think we can bring back for exchange, so in the end, it will be left in study room.

So, lesson taught is to measure, consider and buy! =(

(In case you want to guess, it's under 'kartell' collection)

Today, for once, I realised the benefit of marrying a civil servant - I got discount on my medical premium.

Well, not only that.. I have widen my circle of friends with Hub's colleagues from ATC and their wives.

Often, we will talk about being wives of SAF men.

Now, they expecting our house warming. Not sure when is a good time.. My project finish off last Monday of July. And 1 aug is seventh month.. sigh.. meaning it is hard to host house warming for my relatives. Maybe dual, taking my birthday as a celebration point.

In fact, Hubby is too slow to book the Changi chalet as he missed registrated after SA trip. It's ok. Maybe this will be first celebration at my place! =)

Looking forward to be over and to come.

I wish that weekend is longer.

Was doing my dissertation in school on Friday and also met up with my lecturer. He mentioned that my draft were done badly, needs a lot of revision. Sigh, i also know. No time to do it.

Sat, I spent some time in the school library and also the whole evening at Tampines Ikea. It was so crowded! It's Ikea annual sale which ends end of July. But there are kids everywhere. I started to have some fear facing kids.. They are really handful. And we bought almost one trolley of accessories and items for the house. Surprisely, I was the one controlling, cause I think we overspent on the house renovation and have been buying nonsense which may not come handy at all! So, I told Hub I really wanna buy things we need and that's on sale if possible; if not, we can come back another day when sales is over! The Q was so long.. And to think there is a guy who bought a trolley of toilet brush cleaner! Wonder how effective it is?

We stayed overnight at new place. Went to the new kopitam for breakfast. It was so expensive!Cause it is really 'Kopitam' for the (2) newly opened and it was crowded - one aircon, another non-aircon. But there is no difference in price.. both ex.. The carrot cake we had for a small place was $3.50. I can get a decent from my mum's place's coffeeshop for $2.50 (a big plate somemore!). New estate food is expensive.. I think I will take the train out of my place if I really shift in next time, at least the food is cheaper and most of all - yummy!

And we tried doing midnight shopping at the 24-hr NTUC, it was crowded too! A man was trying to get a drink and decided not to looking at the long cashier q! Kinda turn into mustafa liao! But of course, convenient of having that NTUC nearby is great! Now, I am considering whether I should sign up for the membership!

Overall, i am very pleased with my estate and my nightmare of staying with my IL is ending soon..

Hubby is waiting for me to go to new place. Somehow, wanna blog.

Want to shift to new place but there is no internet access which is tough for me to work on project overnight. Things are all over the place - my IL, my mum and mine. Complicated, that's what my colleagues said.

Thinking which service provider is good. Just miss the *Hub promotion for HP laptop. It was snapped within first week of promo I heard.

Heard that Ikea sales is on, wanna visit over weekend. Beside the white shelf, cabinet and some kitchen accessories which I got a couple of year ago, surprisely I have not purchased any thing from there yet. Probably some more accessories. Recently, when we start shifting our junk of purchases (bought way before marriage, image that was at least it started more than 2 years ago!!), things are quite packed in our 90m2 flat. I have questions from few friends and colleagues what to buy for house warming, I think Vouchers? So that I can estimate and hunt for my purchase is a better choice I think.

Sigh. Holiday mood. How to get my square hat?

Some updates..

New phone - Finally, after hanging on to my 'hello motor' for almost 3 years. Sure is giving way as it ages. It went off couple of times and blank as I smsed. So, my new touch screen phone(Which my colleague typed "I love your new phone"). Phone envy - Samsung F480 which is like a i-phone but mine is lower version but very good. Still trying to learn the functions. But it's well-designed but just with touch screen, I cant sms and walk at the same time.

New house - We have a soft shifting in over the weekend. The house is almost done up. Rectification work is almost there and with the doors being scratched, they paint a thin layer of coat. Well, I kept telling Hubby not to be too picky. So, we are really closing one eye for quite a no. of stuff. Now, we need to install window for service bay, curtains for all room which we have decided on textile. We went to OM to order the tv console and coffee, who knows, we got a call; items are out of stock. Well, blessings indeed, we found the measurement was too short. So the search goes on.. Also, study table and with broadband, soon, it should be ok. We just cant resist good buy with GSS and the thought of owning our own place! It's kinda scary looking at the bills nowadays! Even my colleagues told me control!

Project -I got to redraft my final year project. It was so 'off' from topic and lecturer was right, I did not put in effort to my project. So, I need more motivation to work hard, the house renovation took my focus away.

Eyes - my eyes recovered. I was on contacts since last Thurs but it was watery this morning. Probably new place is dusty too. Sigh, I dont want to wear glasses.

God bless..
