Another week had passed.

We went for detailed scan on Tuesday. It was a non-3D or 4D scan but it doesnt matter to me cause baby's looks will change and even with 3D or 4D, we can't change the looks! So why bother to pay more?

Woke up early in the morning feeling excited. For this term, I am able to sleep better. This is really what mummies-to-be called "Honeymoon period". We went for late breakfast, dim sum @ Thomson Road. Yum.. (Now, I am thinking about Crystal Jade's porridge. But thank God though at times I have food craving, it's not instant but I can endure for a couple of days to eat the food item I want). Shortly we went to Thomson Medical for the detailed scan. Wait was quick! I have to go into the lab first, the doc went through the details around 15-20mins. Little one just woke up in time as we start the scan. So cute, moving around constantly. Very very cheeky, as we mentioned the area to scan, little one will move or play with us. Accordingly to doc, movements of baby are good, meaning able to get all areas checked. And of course, asking me whether we know the gender yet? I said 'no' so ask me whether to tell on the spot and when Hub joins me later. I decided to know the answer together would be interesting.

Overall, our little one is doing very well, average size: 278g at 20 weeks. Legs are longer though. We have a good time during the scan. Results time! We are so happy! Yippeeee... Hubby was a bit shock. (Should not say more now) but we are very pleased... ;)

We finally can start shopping and getting ideas to decorate the baby's room.

Last, take care everyone! Lotsa my friends, colleagues, even hub is down with sore throat, cough or flu. God bless everyone with good health! :)

Hubby is back from US. Seems that this attachment has more places of interest as compared to the past ones (Universal Studio, Factory Outlets, Coaster Rides etc). Of course, this means that we cant imagine how much is the credit card bill when it arrives later!

But I am so glad for him to be back by my side. At least communication is instant! Hubby bought me Kate Spade wallet and a few bags. And most of all, a few maternity tops which I am never into since I am not getting that big (maybe later stage) and lotsa of clothes for the little bao bao. Not only jumpers, tops, pants, shorts but also dresses, swimming costume! *FAINT* Dont even know now boy or girl, if girl we get to keep every thing. If boy, we will have to give away, whereby the girls' clothings are really really pretty! Sigh. Pray that our initution is right..

Hubby is on the flight now, transiting from Narita back to Singapore! I am so glad he is coming back. As the flight touches down our hometown past 1am, I dont think I will be able to stay awake to fetch him this round. So, I will see him after work tomorrow!

2 weeks homestay at my mum's place has definitely made me more preggie. I am well-fed with heavy meals and snacks (I think I have gain like 3kg just a couple of weeks here!). That makes me fear whether I will be a mother whale by the end of the pregnancy. But I felt blessed and bonding with my mum and sister!

Also, I am waving goodbye to my morning sickness. It seems that food intake is under control, other than spicy, oily, fried food, I am feeling good. Specially my energy level! Nowadays, I will take walks in the nearby park in the evening. My tummy always feel so 'stretched' towards end of the day. My mum and friends also encourage me to walk around more before I balloon up in my next term.

Beside having food restriction initially, I recently realised I can only do dental check-up in the 1st term. I wanted to but when I was at the dentist, the advice was 'no' instead bleeding and cause swells etc and harm to the baby. This is true since pregnancy, specially 2nd term onwards, gum bled whenever I brush my teeth daily (this is very normal). Sigh, I got to want till end of the year before the next dental check-up!

Also, I can only travel till early Sept! The work conference is confirmed in Bangkok this early November but safety reasons I cant be there! Well, all for my little darling.

The little one been active; kicking me.. My sis and mum always tell me because my tummy skin is too thin lah.. Even now, some would not believe I am pregnant, looks more like a 'beer tummy' according to my colleagues.. I believe in weeks to come, I will grow into a 'fat' preggie lady.

Getting excited now somehow, cant wait to see Hub soon!!

Hubby is away for attachment. Today is a week after he depart.

We are communicating through msn, but the network is bad. Often, it is broken or cut off in the midst of the conversation. It's very frustrating when you are 12-13hrs difference away. He is exhausted by end of the day or either way.

My MS is finally been reduced to 50% and increased in appetite but I still stay away from oily, fast food and spicy stuff. So far, I gain 1.5kg which is a great improvement through by now, according to theory, I should gain around 4-5kg. But as long as the little is progressing well.

Little one also started kicking and moving extremely well. I could sense the movement and 'punching' too, my sis saw and is amazed at how the little does it. I am into my 18th week which most mum-to-be will feel it in the 20th week. Inheritance of hubby's active character, must be.

Now, I felt more energy in me. Hopefully I can plan a short trip to nearby country for a short get-away. Thereafter, it's land of nappies. Around mid-end July, will be my detailed scan which I look forward. I cant want to buy some cutie clothings for the little one.

I am almost 50% there :)
